Synopsis:
Blu is a bird of the species of macaws that has grown in a small town in Minnesota in the U.S., one day he learns that is the ultimate male specimen of its kind. This is when Blu and its owner, partner and protector Linda, decided to head to Rio to meet Tulio, an eccentric expert on birds, and Pearl, a female macaw in Rio de Janeiro.
But things do not go as well as they had hoped. While Blu and Pearl are learning, bird smugglers come into the lab Tulio and kidnap. This mixed pair of macaws will be forced to stay together and work together to achieve their release. Blu & Pearl undertake together a wonderful adventure to make new friends, laugh, have fun and to get to know each one another.
